At postgraduate level the Department of Geotechnical Engineering participates in two Masters’ courses. The MSc study programme can be completed in one and a half years on a full-time basis.
Doctoral courses through experimental research at the Soil Mechanics Laboratory, lead to the Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) which requires four years of full-time study to complete. Our experimental research is supported by testing facilities of a high standard, with some of the equipment being unique in Greece.
The academic staff of the Soil Mechanics Laboratory teaches the following postgraduate lectures and supervises Master and PhD Theses carried out in the laboratory.
